The Customary Kinship Care Coordinator provides protective services to at-risk children (0-18 years of age) and their families in accordance to the 2017 Ontario Child & Family Services Act & Regulations; Court-ordered or Voluntary Services; on or off the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and within the Bruce-Grey counties. In this role, you would also coordinate services for youth and families who voluntary seek service, respond to Court-Ordered declaration for the need of a Customary Care placement within the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation territory.

Reporting to the Family Services Supervisor, the Youth Support Worker is an important role promoting healthy lifestyles to youth (13-18 years old) and families through development and implementation of prevention and awareness programs. Wage:.............................. Starting salary is recruit (5th class) $58,522. Upon graduation of OPC and PPA, merit increase to 4th class $74,617 (probationary year)

Located on the shores of Georgian Bay in the Bruce Peninsula, the Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation Police Service is actively seeking qualified candidates for the Position of First Nation Police Constable (Recruit). This is a 6-month contract with an opportunity for renewal until a full-time permanent position becomes available.
Experienced officer applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or its equivalent (i.e., grade 12 from any province of Canada). Candidates who do not have a grade 12 diploma but have completed a college diploma program or a university degree program will be considered as having a grade 12 diploma.
- Class 'G' driver's license with full driving privileges and no more than six (6) demerit points.
- No criminal record for which a records suspension (pardon) has not been received and be of good moral character and habits.
- Fluency in English.
- Certified in Standard First-Aid and CPR (level "C").
- Pass Medical, Psychological, Security, and Financial Assessments and a detailed Character Investigation.
- Be physically and mentally able to perform the duties of the position, having regard for personal safety and the safety of members of the public. Prior to applying and throughout your recruitment process candidates must be able to achieve and maintain Level 7 or higher in the Leger 20m Shuttle Run.

Located on the shores of Georgian Bay in the Bruce Peninsula, the Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation Police Service are actively seeking qualified candidates for the Position of Experienced and Qualified First Nation Police Constable.
Experienced officer applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a graduate of the Ontario Police College or other Provincial/ Federal equivalent.
- Successful completion of probationary constable period.
- A positive role model and of good moral character.
- Demonstrated delivery and knowledge of community-based policing.
- Positive work performance history.
- Available to assume regular/full duties within 15 days of offer of employment or as mutually agreed.
- Must be able to meet mandatory medical/physical competencies in accordance with the Ontario First Nation Policing Agreement (OFNPA).
- Full participation and satisfactory completion of a police background investigation.
- Be a member in full standing (i.e., no outstanding discipline matters or charges).
- Possess a driver’s licence with full driving privileges.
(Previous experience in First Nation Policing or specialized training is an asset)

We are looking for additional resumes to add to our Casual Database. Casual Contracts are used to fill temporary vacancies with Programs/Departments. When Program Supervisors/Managers identify a need, they contact Human Resources for a list of those interested who have the requirements they are looking for. Resumes are kept on file for a period of six (6) months.
Casual Contracts are a great opportunity to obtain employment experience. In addition:
- Positions start at a minimum of $16.65 per hour
- In lieu of vacation, 4% Vacation Pay is provided
- Access to Employee and Family Assistance Program during time of contract(s)
