The Edkaagmik Nbiizh Neyaashiinigamiingninwag Edbendaagzijig Trust will be holding an election for one trustee to the board. The Trust is seeking quotes from individuals or organizations to facilitate the upcoming election and ensure that it is conducted according to the regulations and guidelines as set out in the Edkaagmik Nbiizh Neyaashiinigamiingninwag Edbendaagzijig Trust Agreement and applicable sections of the Indian Band Election Regulations. Our election date is set for August 6, 2021.
All eligible band members both off reserve and on reserve are eligible to vote. The electoral officer shall appoint a member of the Chippewas of Nawash band to act as a Deputy Electoral Officer. The Nomination Meeting and Election poll are located on reserve only. No mail-outs required.
