Kikendaasogamig Grab and Go Lunch

To mark the season and the beginning of the holiday break, Kikendaasogamig Elementary School is hosting a Grab and Go lunch, Thursday, December 17, 2020, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, or until their tasty offerings run out.

For safety, the lunch of chili or soup, with a scone, will be served outside, in front of the school.

The cost is FREE, if you’re wearing some Christmas Spirit! Your loveliest/ugliest Christmas sweater, a Santa or Elf hat, Red and Green colour combinations, a Rudolph nose – you decide!

If you decide to Scrooge it, the cost of lunch is still only $5.00, to be donated to the school Nutrition Program.

Date: Thursday, December 17, 2020
Time: 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, while supplies last
Cost: Free, with your finely tuned sense of holiday fashion, or $5.00 for the school Nutrition Program

Kikendaasogamig Elementary Holds Virtual Graduation Ceremony

The COVID-19 pandemic caused a massive disruption in the school year, but our Kikendaasogamig teachers soldiered bravely on, as best they could, particularly the Grade 8 class led by Kimberley Brown. The challenging school semester has finally come to a close, however, so today Kikendaasogamig held a virtual graduation ceremony for the Grade 8 class, attended by staff, students and family.  The presentation, prepared by Ms. Brown with assistance from school staff, celebrates the achievements and personalities of the graduates, who will now move on to greater achievements in high school and beyond.

Congratulations to the graduates of Grade 8! We are incredibly proud of you all!
