Together with Giigoonyag Call for Artists

Together with Giigoonyag (fishes) is a collaborative project between the Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON), Fathom Five National Marine Park (FFNMP), and Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (OMNRF). The project takes a “two-eyed seeing” approach by applying SON and Western scientific ways of knowing to address the concerns about fish, ecosystem change, and the water in the SON Traditional Territory.

We are seeking an artist to create a logo that illustrates the two-eyed seeing approach and spirit of the project.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal to create this logo please contact Janna Chegahno for the proposal package.

Email janna.chegahno@canada.ca or call 226-668-6809.

The deadline for submissions is December 4th, 2020, 11:59 PM EST.
