The Chippewas of Nawash Housing Program is seeking a Housing Manager. The Housing Manager is responsible for providing the administration and delivery of an effective, efficient, and responsible Housing Program in accordance with the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation Housing policy and procedures, as well as applicable Federal and Provincial legislation and regulations. Reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer, the Manager of Operations works in a team environment with the Senior Administrative Officer and Management staff. The Manager of Operations is responsible to ensure the needs of the CNUFN membership are being met in a responsible, effective and efficient manner through the management, administration and delivery of Band Programs and Services. The Manager of Operations is to help improve the organizational effectiveness of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation Administration by chairing, co-ordinating and supporting the work of the Management team.

Employment Opportunity – Community Support Services Cook

The Chippewas of Nawash Health and Wellness Program is seeking a Community Support Services Cook. The Community Support Services (CSS) Cook is responsible for the daily operations of the Community Support Services congregate dining room. This includes planning, shopping for, preparing, cooking and serving healthy nutritious meals to Community Members participating in the Home and Community Care Congregate Dining Program. In conjunction with a Health Professional, the Community Support Services Cook ensures weekly menus are prepared and served in accordance with Safe Food Handling policy. The Community Support Services Cook is also responsible for setting up the dining area, ensuring meals are delivered to Clients on as needed basis, ensuring that the Dining Room and Kitchen areas are cleaned/sanitized, doing laundry, and other duties.
