Family Video Community Challenge

The Family Well-Being Program has announced a fun contest for Neyaashiinigmiing resident families to work on this week. Nancy Pedoniquotte, Family Systems Navigator, is inviting families to create a short video showing us how they’re coping with the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, particularly self-isolation and physical distancing.

10 Winners will be randomly drawn from all entries to receive a free mini-photo session, courtesy of ARPS Professional Photography, to be held on Tuesday, July 14th. This is a very unique time in history, and your family will mark it with a printed 8″x10″ photo of your best shot, and digital photos from your shoot on USB. Due to the ongoing physical distancing restrictions of 10 people per gathering, a maximum of 9 family members may take part in the photo session (the professional photographer makes 10).

Your video should be no more than 3 minutes long and include:

  1. How your family is coping with physical distancing, and
  2. Words of encouragement from your family to others

If you don’t have a device to record video, call us and we’ll come and safely record for you!

Submit your video by email to: family.system.nav@gbtel.ca, or by Facebook Messenger to @nawashFWBP.

Don’t wait! The submission deadline is Friday, July 10, 2020, at 4:30 PM.

Call us the Family Well-being Office with any questions at 519-534-4445. Leave your name and a contact number and we will call you back. We monitor our voicemail daily.
