Cape Croker Park to be closed indefinitely

In response to the pandemic, and in the interest of the health and safety of our Park employees, the Neyaashiinigmiing community, and the general public, the Chief and Council of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation have ordered the immediate closure of the Park. The Park will remain closed to all use, including day users, overnight campers and seasonal renters, until further notice. This was a difficult decision for the Chief and Council and is certainly disappointing to all of us looking forward to another successful camping season. Chief and Council, Park staff, and the community appreciate everybody’s patience and understanding during these challenging times.

Any further questions regarding Park operations, or access for any reason, can be directed to the Park Supervisor, Nathan Keeshig, at nkeeshig@capecrokerpark.com.
