Fish Aging Services
Developed in 2001, the Chippewas of Nawash Calcified Structure Analysis Facility (CNCSAF) is rapidly evolving and making local advances in the field of fish age estimation. We are now capable of ageing lake whitefish and related Coregonids and are also seeking collaborative opportunities to develop protocols for ageing other groups of fishes using advanced digital imaging and analysis techniques.
